Winter Camp is Coming!
What an exciting time of year; as we enter into a season of “thanksgiving” we could not be more thankful to Jesus! Here at Forest Home, our Program Team has been working tirelessly to plan yet another year of fantastic Winter Camp programming. We are thankful to Him for bringing together such an amazing team that is filled with His vision.
Our theme verse for this winter season comes from 1 Corinthians 15:57,58:
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.
It is our aim that students would realize the truth that they are victorious in this life through the power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We will help them to understand how to live from a place of victory, so they can journey through this lifetime confidently in who God has made them to be and on what path He has called them to take.
Each weekend will not only allow students to hear God’s life-giving Word, but it will also allow for them to unplug from their normal schedules often filled with distraction and busyness. We encourage our guests to spend intimate time together as a group and individually with the Lord. At Forest Home it is our hope and prayer that each one of our guests would encounter Jesus in multiple ways, experience transformation from His Word and presence, and feel equipped to engage the world after joining us at winter camp.
We ask you to join us in prayer to see lives forever changed this winter as students grasp the truth from God’s Word and have their eyes opened as they walk victoriously alongside Jesus. Please also pray for safety of our students and staff as we experience all of the fun and excitement planned week after week.
