Outside from the time we woke up till bedtime, no devices, no screen time distractions...
The kids and I are back home and we are so sad. We had such a blessed, amazing time. It was the best time of our lives this past weekend at Forest Home. I zip lined with my son and went on the swing with my daughter.
We went on the water slides & blob. We walked down during free time to play laser tag but it was closed. On the walk there we ran into 2 deer, it was so beautiful.
I’m actually having anxiety being back home stuck indoors in the heat of Palm Desert.
I’m having withdrawals from leaving Forest home. I loved the speakers and the worship was amazing!

Hi Ginger!
We are home and unpacked from camp and I just wanted to tell you that we had the best time. It surpassed pretty much all of our expectations. I am indebted to you for taking all of my questions – and especially for recommending we stay in The Pines. The location and comfort were totally perfect!! The kids also loved their week, and now that we are back in the triple digit Phoenix heat, I am definitely longing for those mountain temps and eating every meal outside 🙂
We already look forward to next year. Consider us hooked!

Game Changing Summer!
Good Afternoon Ginger,
We returned from family camp on Saturday and I just wanted to reach out and say thank you for all of your help in getting us set up to join you this summer. The last couple of years have been challenging for our family for various reasons, but this summer was a game changer. We realized this last week how important and valuable Forest Home has become to our family, especially our kids, and I hope that we can return again next summer.

Best Time We Have Had Yet!
Hi Ginger,
Thank you so much for fitting my family in last week “Week 2”. I wanted to share with you that on Wednesday last week my mom was diagnosis with a brain tumor and we had to leave camp on Thursday to be there for her emergency surgery the next day. She is recovering and there is a long road to recovery for my 79-year-old mother, who is a 2-time breast cancer survivor. I share all this because if we had come this week “Week 3”, we would have had to cancel to be close to my mom this week. At least our family had 5 glorious days at Forest Homes, it was the best time we have had yet!
God always has a plan. Thank you again for finding a cabin for us.

Activities that grow family and faith!
The activities for the kids from infant to college have helped my family grow in our faith. We love FOHO and what we do at camp and what conversations it has brought when we go down the mountain. All five of my children have benefited from family camp and some went to Indian Village and Creekside. The girls were CCA’s for a few years too. Thank you for your wonderful ministry.

All the Options of Home...Without Distractions!
Having the time with my older daughter without the distractions/ all the options of home and being in nature brings out her desire to do things and to spend time together. Knowing that we can sing to together and hear sermons together is a blessing.
