Dear Forest Home Family,
We love you and are praying for God’s protection, peace and wisdom over each of you, your families, churches, and communities as we face this world-wide challenge together. I know this situation impacts all of us, and I pray God gives you unshakable peace in the days ahead.
In the past 10 years, over half a million campers have encountered Jesus and experienced transformation at Forest Home, and now God is giving all of us an opportunity to engage our communities with the love and hope of Christ. I’m praying for boldness and courage for each of us to take the opportunities before us to share the Gospel to an anxious and hurting world.
Our staff is working diligently to prepare a purposeful summer camp experience for you. We continue to pray and believe for a fruitful summer. For those with retreats scheduled, we will be in communication with you as we continue to assess the situation and ensure the safety of all campers. In partnership together, let’s do all we can to allow as many children, youth and families to experience transformation at camp this summer.
Forest Home’s founder Henrietta Mears said, “If I had my life to live over again… I would believe God more.”
May we trust God more in this season and may we wait patiently on Him as we seek Him as to what actions He wants us to take. I can’t wait to meet with you all again soon!
In Christ,
Gary
